How to join in 3 steps
Joining Grandview is simple, and we'll guide you through each step.
1. Reach out
Call or text (805) 660-8064, or request a call below. We typically return calls within one hour and reply to emails within 24 hours.
3. Move in
On move-in day you'll review and sign the house agreement and meet your house manager. Residents must be enrolled in a PHP or IOP program.
2. Talk with our team
We'll talk through your recovery, your PHP or IOP program, and your move-in date. Please have a valid ID ready; we'll let you know if anything else is needed.

Do residents get drug tested?
Yes. Residents take random urine tests twice a week and a breathalyzer every night.
Do you accept residents on medication for addiction treatment (MAT), such as Suboxone or Vivitrol?
Yes. Residents on MAT are welcome, and all prescribed medications must be taken as directed. Grandview is a sober living home, not a medical facility, so medication is prescribed and managed by your own doctor or treatment program. Any substance not approved by staff is not permitted.
Is there a curfew?
Yes. Curfew is 10:00 pm and lights out is 11:00 pm.
Can family visit?
Yes, after a resident's first 2 weeks. Visits take place in common areas with manager approval.
Do I need to be in a treatment program?
Yes. Residents attend an outside PHP or IOP program. Grandview is a sober living home, not a treatment facility. We help with transportation to and from program.
Can I bring my car?
Yes, if it has current insurance and registration and you hold a valid license.
What happens if someone breaks the rules?
Depending on the situation, it can mean loss of privileges, a written behavior agreement, or leaving the home. Anything that puts another resident's safety or sobriety at risk is addressed right away.
